NIGER SDG HAND OVER ANOTHER FOUR HEALTH FACILITIES TO MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND NIGER STATE PRIMARY HEALTH CARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY 5th/02/2021

The executive governor of Niger State is arguably one of the best performing governor in primary health care development in Nigeria. The evidence for this claim is not farfetched from the ongoing commissioning and handover of PHC facilities across the entire state. No wonder, partners found Niger State attractive due to the vigor and commitment shown by the state governor, Hon. Commissioner of health, executive director of NSPHCDA and other key players in health sector of Niger State.
In line with the governor's  massive drive in the provisions of health service delivery, the people of zone c area of the state witnessed yet another Symbolic handover of 4 PHC facilities in one day at Bobi grazing reserve, Mariga LGA,MCH Kontagora LGA,Central Primary Health Care Kontagora LGA and PHC Yengalo, Magama LGA.
The handover ceremony was attended by the Hon. Commissioner for health, permanent secretary ministry of health, Director General SDG, Executive Director NSPHCDA ably represented by the Director foods and drugs pharmacy Ndanusa B. Usman, representatives of some health partners and major stakeholders in health sector of Niger State.
At the events which took place in four different locations, the Hon commissioner Dr. M. M. Makunsidi advised the people to take ownership and maintain the facilities. While, the community leaders shows their appreciation and pray for the DG SDG for his interventional roles played in making their dreams of having good and standard health facility to become a reality.
The most interesting side attraction of the events was the speech delivered by a primary three pupils Fulani boy at school for African in Bobi grazing reserve. Mallami Sarki BelloIn his speech, he addresses the executive governor of Niger State as miyyetti governor. After appreciating the governor's giants stride in building more standard class rooms and health facility at their Bobi grazing reserve, like Oliver the twist, who always demands for more, he demanded that the governor should build secondary School and University for them. The School for African, was established by a white woman in Bobi grazing reserve for fulani children.
The team led by the Hon. Commissioner for health on their way to Kontagora, branched Mariga town and inspected the ongoing construction of 100 bedding facility by the national SDG to further boost health care service delivery in Mariga town and it's environsThe state governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello through the Director General Niger State SDG in collaboration with our amiable Executive Director NSPHCDA
are drastically changing the ugly narratives of primary health care service delivery in Niger State.
